I hope you all are having a fun summer. Respond and let us know. My family went to Ohio/Pennsyvania to visit with family. It is nice to see them and just catch up on what is going on with everyone. Then my husband, Rich, and I went to Las Vegas for a few days. It is a great place to see a show and people watch. It made me "wonder" about them and "visualize" stories in my head. During our travels, I had a chance to read 3 exciting novels. It is such fun to take mini-adventures while reading. Have you all been taking adventures through books or family fun? I know Kateland is hatching chicks and babysitting Shannon's maple tree for her while she is on vacation. What are the rest of you doing? Let us hear from you.

Having Fun?
I hope you all are having a fun summer. Respond and let us know. My family went to Ohio/Pennsyvania to visit with family. It is nice to see them and just catch up on what is going on with everyone. Then my husband, Rich, and I went to Las Vegas for a few days. It is a great place to see a show and people watch. It made me "wonder" about them and "visualize" stories in my head. Are you having fun in Las Vegas? What are you doing in Las Vegas? Are there lots of shops in Las Vegas? This summer I am doing lots of work, like spreading mulch, hitting baseballs, and riding my bike and scooter. I've been to the beach, Busch Gardens and Baltimore, Maryland. I have been to two camps, baseball and basketball. I have been outside alot, because it is nice and warm and you get fresh air.
ReplyDeleteThis summer has gone by so quickly! I went to Greece, and saw places and things that were thousands of years old (even older than I am!). The Greek people were so nice and the food was great. I ate lots of it.
ReplyDeleteWhen I got home, by daughter got married. It was a very happy and exciting time. She was the most beautiful bride I ever saw in my whole life!
Now I am back at school, getting ready for next year. It is lonely here in the summer without any students. It will be exciting to see all of you again!
Sarah is having fun swimming in the pool and at the beach house. She has been riding horses and playing with friends. She is looking forward to meeting you and seeing all her new school friends in September.
ReplyDeleteMy Mommy and Daddy went to Las Vegas too! My cousin watched me, my brothers and my sister. When Mommy and Daddy got back they got me a toy (a Market Street Lego!) My cousin took us on bike rides and we went out for pizza, and we played in the pool. This summer I went on an adventure to Grandma's and Pop-pop's house. We went water skiing and knee-boarding and tubing on Lake Gaston on the MasterCraft. I saw fireworks there, on July 4th and fed geese hamburger buns. And that's all.
